Thobekani factory services is located in the Phumza village in Kwa-Machi next to the town of Harding. They started their business in 1996. Their main business activity is sewing aprons for the nearby factories. They received their first loan of R7, 000.00 from Kwa Machi Financial Services Co-operatives, which they used to buy more sewing machines to meet their increasing customer demands.
They decided to expand their business by venturing into block making in the area. They further borrowed an amount of R2, 000.00 from Kwa Machi to buy raw material for their block business to service the housing industries in the local community, Due to the demand to supply the community, the business has employed six women to date.
The owners of Thobekani Factory Services are greatful to Kwa Machi for providing them with financial assistance to improve and grow their business.
